Our commitment to the environment continues as we move towards energy independence with our solar initiatives. We currently have three solar arrays on our farm totaling 350,000 kilowatts – enough to power over 50 percent of our annual energy needs.
We strive to be the best stewards of our land by maintaining soil structure with no-till and minimum till practices, utilizing cover crops and maintaining waterways. We utilize turkey manure to fertilize our fields. We also recycle carboard, plastic and employ modern energy efficient LED lighting throughout our buildings.
Our first two solar systems can be monitored here.
