Almond-Turkey Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1-8 oz. pkg. noodles, cooked
  • 1-10 oz. pkg. broccoli, cooked
  • 2 t. flour
  • 1/4 t. dry mustard
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/8 t. pepper
  • 1/4 c. pimiento
  • 1/2 c. crumbs
  • 2 t. butter
  • 1 c. celery, thinly sliced
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 t. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c. grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 c. turkey, diced
  • 1/4 c. green pepper, diced
  • 1 c. almonds, toasted/slivered

Directions

  1. Sauté celery in butter
  2. Blend flour, mustard, salt and pepper into celery.
  3. Add milk and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Cook until thickened and add cheese, turkey, pimiento and green pepper.
  5. Stir in broccoli and noodles and pour into 9″ x 13″ baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle with crumbs and almonds.
  7. Bake at 400 Deg. for 20 minutes.
